Creator Nikk Alcaraz of Practical Peculiarities was on hand with his own panel to help share tips and tricks on how to hack your Halloween Party this year and be a standaout host or hostess with the mostest. Midsummer Scream Co-Founder Claire Dunlap moderated.

Tricks and Treats! Hack Your Halloween Party was a fun panel with the adorably spooky creator of Practical Peculiarities. Nikk shared that he first rose to fame during the pandemic when Gordon Ramsey dueted his TikTok. Prior to his viral success as a spooky crafter and baker, he worked at Michaels, Disneyland, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter so you can see a bit of magic is just naturally running through his veins.

With his new book “Peculiar Baking: A Practical Guide To Strange Confections” that is coming out October 29th (available now for pre-order now on Amazon). You can expect fun recipes like Toad Bread, Grasshopper Pie, Peach Oat-Mealworm Cookies, and more!

It’s a long held belief of many — ourselves and Nikk included — that “ghosts aren’t seasonal” and he shares fun spooky content all year round. His work is inspired by his Grandmother and Halloween films: Hocus Pocus, Practical Magic, and Goosebumps the Haunted Mask.
