BDX droids are amongst some of the most adorable to be seen here or in a galaxy far, far away and now you can see some of them in action at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland during the 2024 Season of the Force celebration of all things Star Wars.

Here’s a look at the adorable BDX droids from opening weekend of Season of the Force at Disneyland.

These were exactly the droids we were looking for this past weekend at Disneyland and we got the chance to see them in action. A Cast Member takes the newly-commissioned astromech on treks through the land to fine-tune their programming.

If you’re looking to see these droids yourself, you can head to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge between 9:30am and 4pm for potential missions with the new droids. They will appear periodically throughout the day anywhere between the Droid Depot and the land speeder garage.

It’s important to note that for the safety of both the droids and guests, Cast Members are very diligent about ensuring a distance of approximately 6 feet. As such, photos with the droids are not really possible at this point except for impromptu snaps shot quickly as they move past. clearboth

These Huey-, Dewey-, and Louie-looking droids aren’t actually the first time we’ve seen droid play testing with droids. At the D23 Expo in 20217, ahead of the official opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, we also got to see some play testing with a droid figure that Imagineers at the time were calling Jake.
