No Disney celebration is complete without special food and drink offerings and for a limited time during the 2024 Season of the Force celebration of all things Star Wars at Disneyland, you can enjoy several new food, snack and drink items to feel like you’ve traveled to a galaxy far, far away.

Here’s a few reviews of what we’ve tasted during 2024 Season of the Force at Disneyland.

Video Review

Below is a video sharing a look at what we tried and our thoughts on the new items.

Galactic Grill

Bantha Burger

Bantha Burger ($15.99) features angus beef and vegetable patty, marinated pork belly, American cheese, Asian-inspired slaw, and sambal sweet mayo on a toasted brioche bun; served with a choice of Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or French Fries.

20240406_130220This one has some heat to it but nothing that should have you sweating. The patty is the strangest part — it somewhat gives school cafeteria patty which is not a good thing. Everything else about the dish is nice though. The pork belly is rich but gets lost amongst everything else going on here. The dish is a little confused but it’s worth a taste if you’re hungry for something different.

Chorizo Loaded Fries

Chorizo Loaded Fries ($13.49) features waffle fries, pork chorizo, chile de arbol cheese sauce, and black beans topped with avocado-tomatillo sauce, green onions, and Oaxaca cheese. This is a fun dish but not something we see ourselves rushing to get again. There’s a little bit of heat in this one too but you’d be better off trying something else.

Fried Chicken Baos

Fried Chicken Baos ($14.99) are two crispy chicken baos, spicy katsu sauce, and creamy slaw. This is pretty straight forward, we’re not sure if they’re using the tip yip and bao buns that area already in use on other items on the menu but this is a clever way to craft fun new eats without breaking the bank to add new ingredients in the kitchen. We’re not rushing to Batuu to get these but they are satisfying enough.

Dewback Chili Noodles

Dewback Chili Noodles ($17.99) are spiced fettuccine noodles and gingered ground pork with broccolini stems and shredded red cabbage.

This isn’t listed as a new dish but there have been some substantive changes to the dish including the swap of pappardelle noodles to fettuccine and the swap of brussels sprouts to broccoli stems. Even with the modifications, this dish is still one of our favorites that we’ve had in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge since the land opened. It’s got a nice amount of heat and savory flavors with the freshness from the veggies.

This isn’t new but it’s hard to resist the opportunity to enjoy the Cold Brew Black Caf ($6.79) which features cold brew coffee topped with sweet cream cheese and chocolate puffs

Ronto Roasters

Pasaana Punch

Pasaana Punch ($5.99) is a mixture of orange juice, white grape juice, red passion fruit, and hibiscus. Honestly? We loved this. It’s very very sweet but unlike many other drinks at Disneyland which taste like various combinations of sugary syrups, the juice in this actually comes through as the primary flavor. Can we taste all the other elements? Not necessarily but they combine together well and this packs a perfect punch.

Kat Saka’s Kettle

Celto Slush

Celto Slush ($6.49) is a plant-based pandan-flavored horchata topped with cold brew. Did we hate this? No. Didn’t love it either though. The horchata is not made with rice so it’s more of a vanilla-cinnamon green concoction with coffee. The color is the least off-putting thing for us, though, the flavors are just very ok but probably not worth the upcharge price on this special item. We didn’t love it but wouldn’t advise against it either –it just doesn’t taste like horchata.
