Mickey and Minnie are inviting all their pals to the Frightfully Fun Parade which is a special offering only available during Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure and we’ve got your front-row seat to all the fun!
Here’s a look at everything you can enjoy for the Frightfully Fun Parade during Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure.
About the Parade
The parade kicks off with skittish schoolmaster Ichabod Crane who is unknowingly being stalked by one Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow! When the parade finally begins we find Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse u to some not-so-scary hijinks with their best pals before making way for a bunch of fun including floats and characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas, the Haunted Mansion, The Princess and the Frog, and a bunch of Disney Villains!
Some characters you’ll encounter include Jack Skellington and Sally plus citizens of Halloweentown, creepy creeps and happy haunts from the Haunted Mansion (including swirling ballroom dancers, ominous gravediggers, a trio of hitchhiking ghosts, and Constance the bride), plus Dr. Facilier and his Shadow Men from the other side, and a slew of mischievous Disney Villains including Ursula, Cruella, Mother Gothel, the Evil Queen, Maleficent as a dragon, and a whole bunch more. You might even spy one wiry Cheshire Cat closing out the parade.
How to Watch
This event-exclusive parade has two scheduled performances during Oogie Boogie Bash nights. While some might swear on one parade over the other being less crowded, in our experience both shows can get pretty busy. Still, you can usually find a great spot up until minutes before it starts for either show but if you’re picky about your view you’ll want to show up at least 45 minutes early. For BOTH performances Frightfully Fun Parade steps from the Pixar Pier parade gate. As such, the farther you are from the starting point means the longer you will wait before the parade gets to you — something to keep in mind if you plan on watching the parade from Hollywood Land where it will end as it could eat up valuable time in your schedule.
Frightfully Fun Parade can be seen from the whole Performance Corridor (which spans from Pixar Pier to Hollywood Lan near Guardians of the Galaxy — MISSION: BREAKOUT!) and runs for approximately 15 minutes. Typical showtimes are 7:45pm and 10:00pm but always check the Disneyland app for the latest information and showtimes.

Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party returns to Disney California Adventure on select nights August 25 – October 31, 2024.
