New Star Wars characters and destinations are now appearing daily at Star Tours: The Adventures Continue at Disneyland, just in time for the Season of the Force celebration of all things from a galaxy far, far away.
We had the chance to check out some of the updates for opening weekend — the changes updates can also be enjoyed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disneyland Paris.
EDITOR’S NOTE: This post was updated following a correction from Disney that the new planet destination is Seatos and NOT Peridea as previously announced.
About the Additions
For a limited time, the missions are locked in so that you are guaranteed to get a transmission from either Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, or Din Djarin and Grogu. Plus, all flights are currently encountering visits to the planet of Seatos where a herd of graceful Purrgil space whales can be spotted as seen in the AHSOKA series.
The new additions create more than 250 possible story variations for the attraction when it is running in full shuffle mode.
How to Ride
Star Tours: The Adventures Continue is open during regular park hours and is located in Tomorrowland.
The attraction does have a height requirement of 40″ (102 cm) or taller and offers Rider Switch which allows your party to ride while someone waits with guests who are not able to board — afterwards that person can ride with minimal wait with an additional member of their party. Children under age 7 years must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older.
Video Captioning is available on selected preshow screens and Handhald Captioning is available if you have a receiver from Guest Relations. Guests may ride if they are able to transfer from a wheelchair or EVC into the simulator vehicle.
