For a limited time during the 2024 Season of the Force celebration of all things Star Wars at Disneyland, you can embark on missions once more with the Hyperspace Mountain attraction overlay of the classic Space Mountain attraction.

About Hyperspace Mountain

A new soundtrack plus utilization of new projection and light effects helps turn the standby Disneyland favorite into an explosive adventure in a galaxy far, far away. Get your briefing from Admiral Ackbar who is looking for new recruits to assist the New Republic. An escort of elite X-wing fighters are your guides to survey an Imperial Star Destroyer but wouldn’t you know it — IT’S A TRAP!

Dodge and weave against a swarm of TIE fighters before an explosive finale that takes you into lightspeed and back into the spaceport… hopefully all in one piece!

How to Ride

Hyperspace Mountain is open during regular park hours and is located in Tomorrowland. This attraction offers Single Rider most days. simply ask a Cast Member at the attraction exit for instruction.

The attraction does have a height requirement of 40″ (102 cm) or taller and offers Rider Switch which allows your party to ride while someone waits with guests who are not able to board — afterwards that person can ride with minimal wait with an additional member of their party. Children under age 7 years must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older.

Video captioning is used throughout the attraction’s video screens and guests may ride if they are able to transfer from a wheelchair or EVC into the rocket vehicles. An alternate boarding process is available which allows guests who require extra time to board the opportunity to move at their own pace to safely get in and out of the roller coaster vehicle.
