We were invited to come check out Christmas in July at SkyPark at Santa’s Village and we knew we had to jump at the chance. For the uninitiated, the park is actually open year-round and it’s only in the winter months that the park focuses on Christmas. The rest of the year, the park plays up on its beautiful location and its emphasis on being an outdoor adventure park. Ziplines, biking, fishing, there’s a lot to do at the park even when Santa’s busy at the North Pole during the year.

But for one special weekend, Santa and Mrs. Claus were in the park visiting their Sky Forest friends. We got the chance to have tea with Mrs. Claus and explore the less wintry offerings of the gorgeous park.

Now, we present our favorite moments from 2018 Christmas in July at SkyPark at Santa’s Village!

  1. Queen Wisdom’s Fantasy Forest Trail Tour

One of the most unexpectedly awesome experiences we had was going to Santa’s Workshop and coordinating a tour of the Fantasy Forest Trail with Queen Wisdom. She was exceedingly knowledgeable about not just the flora and fauna of the actual Sky Forest around us but also the history of Lake Arrowhead and the legacy of the park.

We saw, smelled, and even tasted some of what the forest had to offer. It was a really fun tour and it was completely free!

  2. Pre-Christmas Sale

Almost all of the Christmas merchandise in the shop was on sale for 25% off!

  4. Visiting Santa and his Friends!

Yep, hop on Santa’s lap and let him know what you’re looking forward to this holiday season. The big man in red is always ready to chat! Or if you find any of the enchanted forest friends they’ll be more than glad to pose for pictures.

  5. Tea with Mrs. Claus

There was a separate charge for the tea experience with Mrs. Claus which included tea, snacks, a storytime reading, and even a little etiquette lesson.

  6. Christmas Cocktails at the Pedal Pub

Later in the day once we’d had our hiking, zipeline and other adventures we popped into the Pedal Pub for some holiday spirits.

  7. Mother Nature!

Sure, she exists everywhere but the beauty of Sky Forest is truly refreshing. Plus, it sets the landscape for Skypark at Santa’s Village ziplines, bike trails, fishing, and hiking trails.
