Evenings coming alive in the Hollywood Backlot at Disney California Adventure with the Club Pixar offering during 2024 Pixar Fest. The area bursts to life, aglow with colorful decor, offering Pixar-themed games and activities plus the theme food and drink offering a little bit of something for everyone in the family.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Although several outlets disingenuously advertised that Club Pixar was ending early, the offering is largely still running with all but its live entertainment offering in tact. This posting was updated 6/10 to clarify that the entertainment has been removed but all other previous components remain unchanged. What to Expect
Pixar Animation Studios celebrates its most popular character and stories fun games, photo-ops, plus themed food and some super character appearances. There’s also a drive-in theatre showcasing favorite Pixar Shorts.
It’s important to note that this family-friendly experience is NOT bringing the same vibes as the popular dance parties of yesteryear. This less of an ElecTRONica or Mad T Party and more of a summer barbecue hangout with lawn games and activities. Studio Catering and Hollywood Lounge are open but are not offering any big tie-ins to the surrounding party outside of the regular Pixar Fest fare.
We recommend heading over once the sun goes down for a more colorful and picturesque vibe. Plus, shade is in low supply here so evening visits will generally be more tolerable.
How to See it
Club Pixar takes place at the Hollywood Backlot in Disney California Adventure and can be enjoyed at your own pace.
The availability of the area is subject to change so always check the Disneyland App on the day of your visit for the most accurate information but you can typically expect to see this experience spring to life daily from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PMduring Pixar Fest.
What To Do
Shorts-Stop Drive-In Theater
Sit back and enjoy the latest offerings at the Shorts-Stop Drive-In Theater where classic Pixar shorts are on display. Convertible seating is available to sit back and relax!
Photo-Ops
There are several photo-ops where you can snap your latest greatest selfie.
Character Appearances
Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible (in their original super suits) can be spotted at a designated meet and great on Hollywood Blvd. Unfortunately, they do not appear together, instead they alternate at select times throughout the day.

Pixar Games
Several lawn games and activities are themed to Pixar favorites including a Pixar Ball Toss, a Boundin’ mallet jumping game, Lava magnetic fishing game, For the Birds tic-tac-toe toss beanbag game, Lou beanbag toss, and Geri’s Game with an oversized chess board.
 
Food and Drink
The Hollywood Lounge, Studio Catering Co. and Hanger Management Pixar Fest Marketplace booth have all god special Pixar Fest themed items to enjoy while you’re in the area.
Entertainment
When Club Pixar first debuted, there were alternating sets of a DJ dance party and interactive live performances at the Hollywood Backlot stage. However, early in June Disney confirmed that the live entertainment was being removed. The news came shortly after an agreement was reached for Disneyland character performers to unionize although the lack of characters here makes that a seemingly unrelated coincidence.
The lack of characters and the interpretive nature of this offering made it a strange one, especially for fans who were expecting something more in line with the popular evening dance parties that this park was known for in the early 2010s.
