After quite some time without any official updates, we’ve got a massive update on what fans can expect when Universal’s Epic Universe opens in 2025. The new park promises 5 epic themed worlds with more than 50 attraction, entertainment, dining and shopping experiences.
The park will be anchored by Celestial Park and will feature portal entry ways into four additional lands including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train your Dragon — Island of Berk, and Dark Universe.

Epic Universe Portals
- Celestial Park — find attractions, shopping, and dining set amongst rolling living gardens, chasing waterways and strolling pathways along shimmering waters and stunning architecture inspired by astronomical and mythological elements.
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic is a different era of the wizarding world that blends 1920s wizarding Paris from Warner Bros. Pictures’ Fantastic Beasts films with the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series
- SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, will feature the iconic green pipe offer new ways to play in the worlds of beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Donkey Kong
- How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk will feature soaring dragons in a colorful world filled with Viking adventures based on the wildly popular HOW TO TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON franchise
- Dark Universe, will feature everything from the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to the shadowy landscape where monsters roam in a world of myth and mystery
About “Celestial Park”
Several announcements with details are expected but the first burst zeroes in on Celestial Park which will serve as what many Disney fans will know as a “hub” of the park.
About “How to Train your Dragon — Isle of Berk”
How to Train your Dragon — Isle of Berk includes a sparkling lagoon surrounded by four attractions, one live show, and several character and dragon meet-and-greet experiences.
Universal Helios Grand Hotel
Located at the end of Celestial Park is Universal Helios Grand Hotel which is designed to transport guests to a world where the heavens and earth unite – complete with 500 rooms, one-of-a-kind views and its very own dedicated entrance into the theme park.
