A family-friendly Magic Key Dance Party complete with character cameos has made its debut to Disney California Adventure and it’s exclusively available for Magic Key holders. On opening night we saw Pecos Goofy and Pluto helping ring in the dog days of summer.

IMG_6166Taking place at the Disney Junior Theater in the Hollywood Land section of Disney California Adventure, Magic Key holders are invited Mondays – Thursdays from 6p – 9pm (August 24, 6:00p-8:00p).

With the Magic Key Dance Party, you can expect:

  • A live DJ spinning dance tune to keep the party jumping
  • Live character appearances — we saw Pecos Goofy and Pluto on opening night
  • A Magic Key holder photo-op
  • A western-themed photo-op where you can meet with one character while the other is dancing
  • An exclusive keepsake magnet featuring Duck Tales artwork of Donald, Daisy, and their nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie on summer vacation.
  • Although we’re not sure if they will always be in rotation, on opening night there was also a balloon artist and everyone got a small sample size bag of M&Ms on the way out
