World of Frozen is the first Disney Parks expansion to feature an entire land dedicated to the iconic Disney animated feature and new drone footage released by Disney gives a peek at the construction site at Hong Kong Disneyland.
It will be Hong Kong Disneyland’s largest expansion and the world’s first Frozen-themed land with two new attractions: Frozen Ever After and the Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs — a first-of-its-kind Frozen-themed family-friendly roller coaster. There will also be a quick-service restaurant and plenty of shopping opportunities.
The entire themed land is a recreation of the kingdom of Arendelle drawing upon the natural landscape of Lantau Mountain behind Hong Kong Disneyland as a backdrop. Construction is almost completed and in the drone footage you can spot landmarks including the clock tower, Elsa’s Ice Palace sitting atop the North Mountain and Arendelle Castle.
Debuted recently at the Hong Kong Disneyland FanFest event we also have video below of the Elsa Audio-Animatronics figure that will be seen in the attraction.
