A casting notice has revealed that over a dozen Disney characters will be involved in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. New York area residents are being sought to portray Spider-Man, Black Panther, Mirabel, Mulan, Raya, Tiana, Naveen, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Moana, Jasmine, Aladdin, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider. If that’s you, you can find audition details here!

Disney Parks have been showcased in the parade before, most recently with a Disney Cruise Line float and performance in 2021 to celebrate the Disney Wish ship. Pictured above in 2005, characters and dancers saluted the Happiest Celebration On Earth for Walt Disney World Resort (eagle eyed APs may have recognized that the entire cast of performers was actually imported from Disneyland Resort). It’d be a reasonable guess to assume that this year’s float and performance will help kick off the Disney 100 celebration we’ll be hearing more about this weekend at D23 Expo.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place November 24, 2022, and will be broadcast live on NBC.

But wait, there’s more!
