As we head closer to Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022 the need to plan gets more and more prescient. We shared panel event highlights this week and now we’re sharing details on HOW exactly to get into panels during the event.

Celebration, Lucasfilm, and ReedPop will once again offer two different digital systems (Virtual Random Selection and Lightspeed Lane) that aim to make it easier Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022. May the Force be with you!

Virtual Random Selection

This first digital system is used for both panel and shopping access.

Virtual Panel Selection

It is no longer allowed to camp out overnight so Virtual Panel Selection helps to ease those pain points with gaining access into high-demand events.

  • A random drawing for admission to the first panel of each day on the Celebration Stage, Galaxy Stage, and Twin Suns Stage all weekend long
  • Fans will be able to enter the random selection process and manage their panel/exclusive item requests through the Celebration website prior to the start of the Celebration
    • Fans will be eligible to enter the drawing for themselves and any additional tickets they purchased on their original order
  • If selected, you will be given an opportunity to accept your panel selection via email
    • You will be sent QR code, via email, in advance of the show so there is no need to queue up early
    • Unclaimed admissions will be opened for LIGHTSPEED Lane panel reservations each morning (see below) via the mobile app and website
  • Jedi Master VIPs are not eligible as they already have reserved seats for all panels on the Celebration Stage

Virtual Random Selection for Shopping

  • Top brands selling exclusive exhibitor items will also be utilizing the Virtual Random Selection process to handle demand and to provide more fans the opportunity to purchase exclusive items from their booth
  • Steps will be the same as above for Virtual Panel Selection

LIGHTSPEED LANE

LIGHTSPEED LANE reservation process is used to  reserve time slots for the official merch store and more, in addition to a section of reserved seating at the Galaxy Stage and Twin Suns stage for all panels after the first panel of the day.

  • You can make one LIGHTNING LANE reservation per stage per day for panels on the Galaxy and Twin Suns stages
  • They’re available at 9 a.m. PT each morning of Celebration (Thursday through Sunday)
  • They’re available, on the official website and mobile app, on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability
  • IMPORTANT: Your physical badge be activated in order for you to make reservations. It is strongly encouraged to pick up your badge early during extended registration hours.
  • All panels taking place on the The Celebration LIVE Stage, Podcast Stage, University Stage, Collectors Stage, and Fan Stage are open to all fans and do not require random selection or advance panel reservations
