Disney Parks confirmed that the Paradise Pier Hotel will receive a long awaited refurbishment to provide an overall Pixar theme to the property. Concept art released today shows a modest takeover of the property including a new paint scheme and décor plus Luxo Jr. greeting guests in the hotel lobby.
The most exciting news is that hotel will once again have its own dedicated entrance to Disney California Adventure Park — a feature that opened in 2001 and was unceremoniously removed a few years later.
Other enhancements promised include:
- Weaving the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting.
- Carefully curated artwork, and décor that reveals the creative journey of the artists who helped bring these stories to life.
