When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge first opened, it introduced to Disney Parks a whole new selection of slang and phrases for the in-world mythologies from a Galaxy far, far away. When you’re on the planet of Batuu, it’s not uncommon to wish citizens and visitors alike a warm “Bright Suns” greeting or to bid them adieu with a hearty “‘Till the Spire.”

That vernacular expands starting March 1, 2022 with the grand opening of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser where it will introduce visitors to an immersive storytelling experience where you may bid fellow cruisers with a celebratory Ta’bu e tay or offer a good luck blessing of “Clear Skies.”

Here’s a selection of in-world phrases you can feel at comfort using aboard the  Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser!

New Phrases for Galactic Starcruiser

  • “Ta’bu e tay” – Celebratory phrase meaning “Cherish the moment”
  • “Ba ma’ shay” – Goodbye phrase meaning “May you journey boldly”
