While visiting Disneyland for its 66th anniversary, we had the chance to book an excursion aboard the world-famous JUNGLE CRUISE attraction to scope all the new enhancements made to the opening-day original attraction! The Jungle Cruise officially reopened its moors on Friday, July 16, 2021.
The attraction features newly-integrated story through-line which finds Alberta Falls, the proprietor of the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd., and host of new visual gags that are connected along the journey. Along the way, brand “gnu” magic is found including:
- A safari of explorers from around the world finds itself up a tree after the journey goes awry
- Chimpanzees have taken over the expedition’s wrecked boat
- A Lost & Found location has turned into a Gift Shop run by Alberta’s longtime friend, Trader Sam
