Disneyland is no stranger to hosting World Premieres and on July 24, 2021 history repeated when the Happiest Place on Earth played host to debut the upcoming film JUNGLE CRUISE. Notably, the park has previously been the site of the world premieres for several star-studded world premieres for films of THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN franchise.
Following a commemorative cruise aboard the film’s namesake opening-day Disneyland original attraction in Adventureland, the film’s stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt sailed on through a red carpet leading towards the Fantasyland Theatre where a gigantic screen had been erected for the screening. The studded carpet included supporting cast including Edgar Ramírez, Jack Whitehall, Veronica Falcón and Raphael Alejandro plus the film’s director Jaume Collet-Serra and producers John Davis, John Fox, Hiram Garcia, Dany Garcia and Beau Flynn.
Other fan-favorites seen on the carpet included Simu Liu (who will be seen as Shang-Chi in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster), Ming-Na Wen (voice of Mulan, Agent May), renowned Disney-fan and actor John Stamos and plenty more. Enjoy now this selection of photos from the festivities, courtesy of Disney!
