In a statement released today on Twitter and their official website, Universal Studios Japan confirmed that the grand opening for the upcoming SUPER NINTENDO WORLD expansion is going to be delayed.
As indicated on the official site, “The grand opening of Super Nintendo World™ has been postponed. We will announce the new grand opening date soon after Osaka prefecture’s state of emergency has been lifted.”
Nintendo recently shared an exclusive look into the land with a peek at Mario Motors, Kinopio’s Cafe, 1UP Factory as well as the various interactive elements activated by mobile app-activated Power-Up Bands.
