In preparation for the slew of new procedures and safety measures coming to Disney Parks as a result of the COVID-19 coronavirus, a series of new images has been released featuring characters from Disney-Pixar’s THE INCREDIBLES.
The new artwork, which we can assume will be shown on resort signage and collateral in the coming weeks, aims to familiarize and reinforce new measures including hand washing, social distancing, and temperature checks. Many have been quick to point out a comparatively timid approach to its established policy of requiring face masks. Instead, the infographic featuring Edna mode shows her pointing to a face mask and includes a vague message “Cover up Dahling, it’s not just stylish–it’s smart.”
Phased re-opening at the Disneyland Resort is expected to begin as early as July 9, 2020 with Downtown Disney reopening on that date and then following up with the parks on July 17 and select Resort hotels on July 23. Reopening is pending governmental approval.
COVID-19 Warnings
