Earlier this morning at D23’s Destination D event, Disney unveiled the first official in-person look at an actual gondola for their upcoming Disney Skyliner attraction.
The particular gondola chosen for presentation was #623 which is numbered in honor of summer of 1923—the year Walt Disney arrived in California!
The gondola transport system will offer never-before-seen birds-eye views of Walt Disney World that will connect the new Disney Vacation Club property, Disney’s Art of Animation, Pop Century and Caribbean Beach resorts with Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot.
Disney Skyliner transportation system in Walt Disney World is expected to open late 2019.
