It’s been a minute since our last pictorial. Life and such. But today we’re back with a look at the goings on for the past few weeks. Most prominently, the Disney Holidays are just around the corner and we can’t be more excited. But there’s quite a bit more in store in today’s update.
It was also Dapper Day weekend which means tons of fancily dressed fans were found all around the parks. We got to see fabulous Ashley Eckstein of Her Universe (and voice of Ahsoka Tano) and also stopped into the wonderful new THE DRESS SHOP which recently opened in Downtown Disney.
There’s two exclusive Sneak Peeks going on right now. The first is THOR: RAGNRAK at the Sunset Showcase Theater which brings with it an additional character meet and greet and show moment with Thor and Loki. Plus, you can get a 3D sneak of Disney-Pixar’s COCO at the Bug’s Life Theatre which brings with it a “World of Coco” display.
There’s tons more to take in plus we’ll have TWO merch runs for you in this update, a Christmas one and a regular one! All of this in more in our latest pictorial update! ENJOY!
This is Christmas
It’s not ready yet but there’s peeks of Christmas all around the entire Resort. Plus, it looks like Disneyland is finally getting an update to a lot of its holiday decor with new garland gracing the buildings.
It looks like Disneyland’s Main Street is getting new more natural appearing garlands for the Disney Holidays! What do you think?
Sleeping Beauty Castle isn’t finished yet but it looks like it still has the same pastel motif on its garlands/wreath. Not our favorite.
Downtown Disney is also getting new decorations for the holidays. Re-purposing the structures that debuted for Halloween Time, the planters are gorgeously refreshed with new holiday decor and plantings.
The first wave of what should promise to be a slew of new holiday merchandise is also filling up shelves across the Resort. Have a peek!
This beautiful artwork we fell in love with last year is back again this year and on a wonderful dress at the Dress Shop in Downtown Disney!!
And now a look at more wearables for the Disney Holidays, available all around the Resort.
Accessories and More
Toys and More
Tons of styles to be seen over the weekend, below is a microscopic sampling.
We’ve been covering the Her Universe Fashion Show at San Diego Comic-Con since its inaugural year so we were a little star struck to meet Ashley Eckstein this weekend! She is also the voice of Ahsoka Tano in various Star Wars animated series.

The Dress Shop
Downtown Disney quietly opened up its newest store, the Disney-run boutique called THE DRESS SHOP. The wares here were previously available inside of the now defunct Vault 28 and if the name sounds familiar, that’s because there’s a shop by the same name at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World. The location in California took over the former Chapel Hats location.

COCO Exclusive Sneak Peek
Now through the holiday season, visitors to Disney Parks can experience an exclusive sneak peek of Disney-Pixar‘s upcoming animated feature COCO. We checked out the preview today at Disney California Adventure where the preview is taking place at the “It’s Tough to Be a Bug!” theater in “a bug’s land.”
THOR: RAGNAROK Exclusive Sneak Peek
THOR: RAGNAROK landed in theaters this weekend and to celebrate, Disney California Adventure park is offering an exclusive Sneak Peek experience of the film plus a special show moment that leads to a character meet and greet with non-other than Thor and Loki.
