The guardians have landed and now for a limited time, you can take in Marvel’s latest action adventure at the El Capitan Theatre in fabulous Dolby Vision with a bunch of different special viewing offers. We were invited to check out the film including the awesome photo-op with vibrant “neon” backdrop.
If you’re used to some of the theatre’s more robust offerings, you’ll find that like the Guardians themselves, the engagement for these rogues is a little more down to the nitty gritty. There’s no special display downstairs for the film as one might typically be accustomed but there is a display featuring the costume worn by Michael Rooker to bring the character Yondu to life in the film. There is a surprising amount of detail in just one costume.
Fabulous theater organist Rob Richards brought amazing sounds to life on the mighty wurlitzer.
Of course, you can find a slew of Guardians merch… hopefully you like Groot and Rocket! 🙂
