Everyone is invited to celebrate tomorrow as part of Disney’s Magic of Storytelling event. With the goal of encouraging lifelong love of reading in kids and also bringing books to underserved communities, the campaign kicks off Saturday, February 4 which is being called Disney Reads Day.

As part of the campaign, select Disney books are 30 percent off at Barnes & Noble and 25 percent off at Disney Store. But buying books tomorrow isn’t just enriching the children in your life… it is also helping to put up to one million books in the hands of children in need across the country!

Here’s how you can be part of the initiative:

  • In-Store Events: Celebrate Disney Reads Day on Feb. 4 at Disney Store and Barnes & Noble locations nationwide. Families and fans can enjoy free family-friendly activities and in-store storytime. Check here for a list of participating retailers in your community.
  • One-for-One Book Donation: Buy a Disney book, Disney will donate one book to a child in need.
  • Share a #Shelfie: Disney will also give one book for every “shelfie” — a selfie photo with a favorite book — shared on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #MagicOfStorytelling. (Celebs Pink, Kerry Washington, Viola Davis, Alec Baldwin and more have already shared theirs!)
  • Magic of Storytelling Sweepstakes: Consumers can enter to win a library of 400 Disney books for their school and a personal library for their home in the Magic of Storytelling Sweepstakes. For every sweepstakes entry, Disney will donate one book to First Book. To enter the sweepstakes and for more rules and information, visit magicofstorytelling.com.
