Knott’s Scary Farm is ready once for you to enter the fog for a fresh crop of horrors and at Midsummer Scream 2026, creators of the event were on hand to tease some of what will be coming for the upcoming haunt season. Highlights include the final run confirmations for Origins and Chilling Chambers plus expansion of CarnEvil.

What We Learned

Here’s some of the gory details of what we learned for this year’s event. The presentation was led by Payden Adams (VP) and featured panelists that included Pasta Berky (Associate Producer), John Asperin (Art Director), Christopher Do (Producer), and Gus Krueger (Art Director).

  • Origins: The Curse of Calico is the longest running maze at the event and will celebrate its final year in 2026
  • The Chilling Chambers is also going to be having its final run through for the 2026 season
  • They confirmed that CarnEvil will have an evolution this year that includes the introduction of Mesmer as well as new characters called The Barker and Clown Maker who is the queen of the clowns.
