You’re at 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, what are you gonna do: NOT take any selfies? Amongst the myriad of things to see and do during the event, commemorating your day with some photos is a mandatory item on the agenda and Disney has you more than covered. If all the immersive experiences aren’t enough, there are eight official photo-ops designated on the Show Floor.

Here’s a look at what we got to see during 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event (formerly D23 Expo) taking place from August 14 – 16, 2026.

Adventures at D23 comics

A few different “Adventures at D23” photo-ops brought artsy interpretations of popular characters and stories as covers on a comic book. Options included: CARS themed pitstop, Disney princesses featuring Cinderella, Belle, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Ariel; Bart Man and Radioactive Man from the Simpsons; C-3PO and R2-D2 in Tatooine.

A photo-op promoting the upcoming Ultimate Grogu Animatronic from Hasbro.

More Photo Ops

D23 Sparkle Logo

A stunning larger-than-life D23 logo is fully studded in sparkly jewels for a dramatic backdrop. The D23 logo sculpture first debuted at the front of the Anaheim Convention Center for the 2024 event as part of a larger Sorcerer’s Hat landmark that took 1,700 hours to create and shimmered with 15,023 multi-faceted Swarovski Crystals.

Pizza Planet Truck

Don’t forget to peek into the windows of this awesome fan-created tribute to the iconic vehicle seen in just about every Pixar film ever made!

Disney Fairytale Weddings

Step onto the cover of an iconic HAPPILY EVERY AFTER MAGAZINE with this gorgeous photo-op complete with fresh flowers.

Genie’s Lamp

Near the Disney Theatrical pavilion is a larger than life version of genie’s lamp from Disney’s ALADDIN | The Hit Broadway Musical.

Marvel Legends

Marvel Legends had an interactive photo-op at the Hasbro with Marvel Legends role play items.

Charter Member Lounge

A fun sorcerer Mickey photo-op is available along with two separate backdrops, one featuring Piggy and Kermit in red carpet-ready looks plus a listing of the names of all D23 Charter Members!
