The Disney Entertainment Showcase for 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event brought powerhouse talent and crew to the the Honda Center for reveals of the latest coming from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and more. Hosted by Ginnifer Goodwin and Ke Huy Quan, the energetic showcase featured surprise appearances, exclusive footage, musical performances, and first looks at upcoming theatrical and streaming projects.

Here’s a look at what we learned from the Disney Entertainment Showcase at 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event (formerly D23 Expo) taking place from August 14 – 16, 2026.

What We Learned

This was the first time for Josh D’Amaro to be part of the festivities as CEO of The Walt Disney Company and he started off the evening connecting with the audience and sharing that he knows just how important it is for him in this role to be a steward of not just all the future decisions the company has to make but also being respectful of the vision and legacy that first started in 1923.

Major reveals and updates shared across the company’s film and television divisions included massive hype for Marvel Studios which gave public looks at Avengers: Doomsday with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Hayley Atwell, alongside a trailer for Marvel Television’s VisionQuest and casting reveals for an untitled X-Men film. The Walt Disney Animation Studios previewed Hexed, revealed the original feature Clay starring Kieran Culkin, announced early development on Zootopia 3, and closed the night with animation and live songs from Frozen 3. Of course, Pixar Animation Studios was ready to tease Incredibles 3, Coco 2, Gatto, and the newly announced supernatural adventure Ghost Market. Across the galaxy, Lucasfilm presented a teaser trailer for Season 2 of Ahsoka and previewed Star Wars: Starfighter with Shawn Levy and star Ryan Gosling. Disney live-action presentations included updates on Lilo & Stitch 2, Tangled, Ice Age: Boiling Point, the hybrid series Oswald from Jon Favreau, and a trailer for The Bluey Movie, while 20th Century Studios featured Romy & Michele 2 and a sneak peek of an upcoming film from The Simpsons.

Walt Disney Studios

ICE AGE: BOILING POINT

• Ice Age: Boiling Point releases exclusively in theaters on February 5, 2027.
• Cast members Queen Latifah and Denis Leary took the stage to introduce an exclusive in-room clip featuring Scrat, Baby Scrat, and Jurassic Scrat.
• The highly anticipated film is a dinosaur-and-lava-filled madcap adventure that takes Manny (voiced by Ray Romano), Sid (voiced by John Leguizamo), Diego (voiced by Denis Leary), Ellie (voiced by Queen Latifah), Buck (voiced by Simon Pegg), the acorn-obsessed trio of Scrat, Baby Scrat, and Jurassic Scrat, and the rest of the herd to visit never-before-seen corners of the treacherous Lost World.

• Oswald will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on February 17, 2027.
