Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration is back for 2026 and the charming kid-focused festival promises a full roster of new and returning offerings celebrating the characters created by Charles M. Schulz. This year, the event welcomes a brand new show plus an expansive offering looking into the history of the iconic characters

Entertainment
Knott’s Express (NEW)
A traveling musical adventure featuring toe-tapping dance numbers, heartwarming songs from the Golden Age and plenty of other surprises along the way for Charlie Brown and his friends.
- For each show, the trolley will make three stops in the Boardwalk area, Charleston Circle and near Boardwalk Ballroom
- Each stop is a spirited exhibitions of music and dance will be inspired by each location with songs that include “Put on a Happy Face” to “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile”
- Of course, the performance will be punctuated with dapper and colorful costumes, streamers and other touches of whimsical joy
Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop ConcertÂ
At the Calico Mine Stage, at nightfall, the stage will transform into a for a high-energy spectacle featuring indie band The Jelly of the Month Club.
Let’s Celebrate
At the Calico Mine Stage during the daytime, a heartwarming musical tribute will honor more than 75 years of the PEANUTS.
Snoopy, Charlie Brown and all their friends, as well as a host of singers and dancers, remind us why Peanuts is still beloved after 75 years!
PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree
At Calico Park, Franklin and Linus are on a Western escapade as they transform into cowboys. The boys are looking to challenge guests with some of the rootiniest, tootinest games in Calico.
Character Meet and Greets
Meet beloved PEANUTS characters throughout the day as the characters appear at unexpected locations for personal interactions.- Pigpen’s Pig Pen is back again this year with a special meetup at the Livery Stables with some of his favorite animal friends.

Kite Flying Foibles (NEW)
At Calico’s Town Hall, this limited-time exhibition explores kite-flying with the Peanuts gang through high-quality reproductions of original Peanuts comic strips, drawings, and photos.
- Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz admitted that he was never very good at flying kites, and unfortunately, poor Charlie Brown fares even worse.
- Of Charlie Brown’s many frustrations, one of the biggest involves kites. In this exhibition, visitors will be swept away by the humor and relatability that made Schulz’s strip soar.

The PEANUTS Sketch School
The Wilderness Dance Hall offers an experience to learn how to draw favorite PEANUTS characters with a resident art teacher!
