Here’s everything you need to know about Grinchmas during the 2025 holiday season at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Entertainment

The Grinch crashes the party every year to join the Who-bilation of merry fun including a Grinchmas Tree Lighting complete with a snow fall moment. Other entertainment includes live Who-liday classics performed by the Fah-Who 4 A’s and Storytime with Cindy-Lou.

You’ll also be able to interact and snap pictures with various residents of Who-Ville including the Cindy-Lou Who, Mayor, Martha May Whovier, and more! Of course, you can score some face time with the mean green one, the Grinch himself as well as his faithful companion, Max.

Character Greets

All around the Grinchmas area of Universal Plaza, you’ll find various residents from Who-Ville but you can also hop in line to get some quality time with the Grinch himself or his friendly dog Max. Cindy-Lou Who is also greeting guests at the Who-Ville school house.

Activities

Interactive activities to express your creativity (and also do something nice for the community) are also available at Grinchmas in Universal Plaza. At Martha May’s House Craft Area you can pickup a paper ornament and color it to trim up the pine trees near the Grinch… or take it home and brighten up your own home decor! No charge! While you’re there, you can also share with the Grinch three good deeds that you did in the past year and mail the postcard to him (at no charge) at the adjacent Who-Ville Post Office. For every post card sent, a donation is made by Universal to Schools on Wheels!

At Who-bilicious Treats, quick grab-and-go options include cookies, cupcakes, and other desserts plus an assortment of specialty drinks and other treats! Or you can head over to Hollywood & Dine near the entrance of the park and enjoy a complete menu of meals, drinks, desserts, and beverages! Grinchmas Merch Run

Here’s a look at some of the merchandise that the Grinch has unloaded for this Grinchmas season.

The Grinch Who Stole Christmas has the biggest collection, including a Loungefly bag, plush toys, and a variety of ornaments. The apparel section is extensive, with items like matching family pajamas, winter accessories (beanies, gloves, scarves), and t-shirts for all ages. Home goods are also available, such as drinkware, a cookie dish, a blanket, and more.
