We always knew that the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration was extending until 2026 and now we know its official end date will be August 9th of next year. That means by the time the 15-month party is over, Disneyland will technically have already been 71 years old for a few weeks!

The length of the promotion should come as no surprise as Disney celebrations typically last more than a year. The 50th anniversary celebrations in 2005 lasted 18 months while the 60th anniversary celebrations extended for 16 months.
Disney promises the anniversary slate of entertainment will be back in full swing once all the Christmas decorations have been put away in January. That means you can expect to see the return of:
- The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade — returning January 9, 2026
- Wondrous Journeys — returning January 8, 2026
- Paint the Night parade — returning January 30, 2026
- Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and pals in 70th Celebration attire at Disneyland park — returning January 8, 2026
