Deadpool is back again at Disney California Adventure for The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special, a heartwarming, tongue-in-cheeks, part of the the 2025 Disney Holidays season. Come warm the cockles of your heart with some festive cheer like only the merc with a mouth can deliver.

About the Show

Deadpool gathers everyone ’round the cozy fireplace to tell holiday tales including a A Christmas Carol and T’was the Night Before Christmas. Of course, you can expect a fair share of his trademark sass with zingers to spare. as he tells mutilated takes on holiday stories that surely are from a different part of the multiverse. Deadpool is the lead here but for SELECT showings Wolverine may pop in to help spread the holiday cheer — or maybe it’s a holiday leer?

None of this should work and yet somehow, the quirky irreverence is infectious and fans gobble it up!

How to Watch

The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special takes place near the Hyperion Theater at the entrance into Avenger Campus from Hollywood Land and lasts approximately 10 minutes. Typical showtimes are 10:25 AM, 11:25 AM, 12:25 PM, 1:55 PM, 3:40 PM, and 4:35 PM but always check the Disneyland app on the day of your visit. The show is only available for a limited time during the 2025 Disney Holiday season.

A large seating area is taped off around the small stage which is intended seated-room only. Guests who would like to stand are asked to do so outside of this square. A limited number of benches are available just outside the taped off area. Deadpool is still pretty popular so we recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before showtime — longer if you’re picky about where you want to be seated. If you want a proper bench seat, you may need to arrive significantly before showtime to snag your spot.
