We love us a good seasonal attraction overlay and the Timber Mountain Log Ride transformation into the Halloween Hootenanny during the 2025 haunt season at Knott’s is one of the absolute wildest. This seasonal version of the classic attraction is available both during the daytime for Knott’s Spooky Farm and in the evenings for the separately ticketed Knott’s Scary Farm.
Here’s a look at everything to know for the Halloween Hootenanny at Knott’s Berry Farm during the 2025 Halloween season.
About the Attraction
The annual Halloween Hootenanny is a cherished time of year for the residents of Timber Mountain who once again welcome both friend and stranger to a wild fall festival. Hop a log and encounter the strangest assortment of creatures including the Calico Coffin Creeper Band and the spooky Green Witch before taking the familiar plunge down Skull Mountain.
As you pass through the joyous jubilee, you’ll hear an original song performed by the park’s very own Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies bluegrass/country band.
This popular attraction sees its longest lines at the hottest points of the day and it’s shortest waits in the mornings, evenings and coldest points of the day. During Knott’s Scary Farm, there’s not usually much of a wait at any point during the night.
