Universal Studios Hollywood is ready for a new roundup of scares for the 2025 haunt season with the return of Halloween Horror Nights. The event features 8 haunted house mazes, the Terror Tram experience, 5 scare zones, 2 shows, and a host of dining and shopping opportunities.

House Rankings
We have a complete ranking of all of the haunted house mazes this year to help you prioritize your plan of attack and maximize your time in the park. The horror this year includes Scarecrow: Music by Slash, Terrifier, Jason Universe, Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America, Five Nights at Freddy’s, The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks, Fallout, Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse, and The Poltergeist.

Scare Zones
A small selection of scare zones this year include Chainsaw Clownz at the park main entrance with a troop of chainsaw killers who confront guests as they enter the event; Carnival of Carnage on New York Street invites you to escape a maniacal fun house; Noche de Brujas continues the theme of the adjacent Ghosts of Latin America maze; Hellbullyz along the walkway to the Terror Tram are an inbred nightmare; and the return of fan-favorite Murder of Crowz near the Wizarding World entrance with a flock of menacing crows who will do anything to defend their nest. Plus, Art the Clown is a scarezone unto himself walking around the entire park — you never know where he’ll pop up next…

The amphitheater for WATERWORLD becomes the bloody backdrop for The Purge: Dangerous Waters… who will survive the night? Plus, the DreamWorks Theater on the Upper Lot plays host to Chainsaw Man: The Chaos an original horror anime that first debuted at Universal Studios Japan. You’ll need to keep up your energy if you’re going to survive the night. Stay fueled with themed food and drinks all around the park. Around Universal CityWalk Hollywood and Halloween Horror Nights, store shelves are fully stocked with apparel, gifts, and memorabilia to commemorate this year’s event and all the mazes. Not only that, but you can also pick up a few novelty items including THREE new popcorn buckets which all come with free refills on the the day of purchase as well as a refillable bottle offer that lets you refill at the park’s Coke Freestyle machines all day on the day of purchase, as well.

There are several ways to get into the event with various levels of amenities and perks. If you find yourself wanting more horror through the season, there are upgrade options available in park.
