While there’s no characters, treat trails or candy candy, what you WILL find is an an ethereal self-guided journey with lighting, fog, sound effects, projection mapping, and even scents to evoke the wicked worlds of various Disney villains.

Villains Grove is broken up into several zones evoking favorite Disney villains and themes including:

Frollo’s Sanctuary – Head into an otherworldly cathedral of trees infused with incense smells and chanting voices.
Maleficent’s Will – Roam through a region replete with eerie ravens, thorn-spiked vines and a seemingly spellbound waterfall of cascading color!
Queen of Hearts Garden – Wander ‘round a charming garden of roses that paint themselves red right before your eyes!
Scar’s Elephant Graveyard – Descend into a vast expanse that echoes with hyena laughter!
Dr. Facilier’s Friends on the Other Side – Summoned by the great beyond, shadowy hands and colorful spells lure Guests deeper into the grove’s darkest corners.
The Wicked Queen’s Lightning Forest – See the forest come alive as an electrifying storm flashes from branch to branch.
Home of the Wisps – Watch these winged caretakers guide Guests to safety amid a magical bastion of endless light.

How to See It

Villain’s Grove takes over the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail near the Grizzly River Run attraction during each night of Oogie Boogie Bash and takes approximately 10 minutes to walk-through. This is a self-guided tour of the eerie space which is popular option every year even though there are no characters or treat trails within.

The lines can get quite long but due to the nature of the walk-through they move pretty quickly. At some points the line will stretch down to Soarin’ (and sometimes doubles back on itself) so we recommend for optimal wait times to visit is during one of the parades or at the very end of the night before the park closes.
