Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure is inhabited by a wide array of Disney characters every year and for the 2025 event there’s a of friends (and foes) who you can see. From treat trails and meet greets to shows and parades, there’s magical encounters around every corner.
Here’s a full look at all the characters you can expect to see during 2025 Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure.

What to Expect
Below we’ve indicated the three main which in which you can spot characters during the event. You can use the icons to identify the different ways to see certain characters.
- 🎃 Treat Trails – Most, but not all, treat trails will feature characters — usually dedicated to a single character who will be there all night.
- 🦇 Meet and Greets – A scattering of traditional meet and greet setups are available — usually a rotating roster so you never quite know who will show up.
- 🕷️ Parades – While you won’t likely get personal interactions with these characters. it’s still a great way to spot a bunch of favorites at once.

Here’s a complete list — to the best of our knowledge — of all the characters you can see for this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash. This year, new characters (who you can only see during the event) include Syndrome from THE INCREDIBLES plus the return of Maleficent from SLEEPING BEAUTY and a few others such as Meg from HERCULES and the Cheshire Cat, Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum from ALICE IN WONDERLAND.
Favorites from previous years have also returned including Hades (as a speaking character) plus Pain and Panic from HERCULES, Dr. Doofensmirz from PHINEAS AND FERB, Judge Doom from WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT, Yokai from BIG HERO 6, Ernesto de la Cruz from COCO, a special group appearance by Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from HOCUS POCUS. and of course, the event namesake, Oogie Boogie himself from THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS amongst many more. We’ll continue to update this list as we get new information.

From THE INCREDIBLES. You can find this character at a Treat Trail at the Pixar Pier Bandshell near the Pixar Pal-Around attraction.
Maleficent 🎃🕷️
From SLEEPING BEAUTY. You can find this character at a Treat Trail in Grizzly Peak Pass.
You can also spot the mistress of all evil in dragon form in the Frightfully Fun Parade.
Meg 🦇
From HERCULES. You can find this character in the Grizzly Peak area near the entrance to The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure.
Cheshire Cat 🦇
From ALICE IN WONDERALND. You can spot this character on Buena Vista Street.

Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, Red, and Guido from the CARS films. You can find these characters throughout Cars Land.
Disney Villains 🕷️
Favorites include Ursula, Dr. Facilier, Cruella DeVil, Evil Queen, Mother Gothel, Maleficent (in dragon form), Captain Hook, Sheriff Of Nottingham, Judge Claude Frollo, Jafar, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella. You might spot them in the Frightfully Fun Parade.
Haunted Mansion Characters 🕷️
Several residents of the Haunted Mansion can be spotted including the Bride and the Hitchhiking Ghosts — you’ll find them in the Frightfully Fun Parade.
Headless Horseman and Ichabod Crane 🕷️
From THE ADVENTURE OF ICHABOD AND MR. TOAD. You can find these characters in the Frightfully Fun Parade.
Joy 🦇
From INSIDE OUT. You can find this character at the Toy Story Boardwalk covered area in Pixar Pier.
Edna Mode 🦇
From THE INCREDIBLES. You can find this character at Incredibles Park near the Incredicoaster entrance in Pixar Pier.
Frozone 🦇

Mickey, Donald, and Goofy 🦇🕷️
Dressed in outfits rom Kingdom Hearts, you can find these characters in Bountiful Valley Hideaway near the entrance to Avengers Campus.
You can also spot Mickey in regular Halloween outfits in the Frightfully Fun Parade so this meet and greet will not be available during the parade.
Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle 🦇🕷️
Dressed as the Sanderson Sisters From HOCUS POCUS. You can find these characters in Paradise Gardens Park which is normally the viewing area for World of Color.
You can also spot Minnie in the Frightfully Fun Parade so this meet and greet will not be available during the parade.
Nightmare Before Christmas Characters 🕷️
Jack Skellington and Sally, the Mayor, the Vampires, and more — you’ll find them in the Frightfully Fun Parade.
