Walt Disney – A Magical Life has debuted as part of the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration showcasing the latest innovations in Disney Audio Animatronics technology with a show that tells the story of the life of the Disney company’s founder. Sharing space with the Great Moments with Mc. Lincoln attraction, this new offering debuts with a brand new exhibition Evolution of a Dream that looks back on seven decades of the Happiest Place on Earth.

Here’s a closer look at everything you need to know about the Walt Disney – A Magical Life attraction and Evolution of a Dream exhibit during the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration.

The Main Street Opera House play host to the new attraction exclusively but will eventually share the space for double feature showings that includes Great Moments with Mc. Lincoln. This all new story of the life and career of Walt Disney includes a cinematic presentation of his journey which culminates in a visit with Walt in his office, made possible through the magic of Audio-Animatronics storytelling.

“Memories of Walt” is a preshow in the Main Street Opera House lobby featuring those who worked alongside Walt Disney – and those inspired by his vision – who share personal stories and reflections about the company founder and magic maker. The lobby also features an all-new gallery experience called “Evolution of a Dream” featuring images, artifacts and never-before-seen artwork looking back on the history of the park. The exhibition also includes a special display that highlights the story and history of Audio-Animatronics technology, from Walt’s day leading and the earliest uses to the advancements we know and love today.

After the initial run of Walt Disney – A Magical Life, the Main Street Opera House will welcome back Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, which will play in rotation with Walt Disney – A Magical Life.
