After revealing a first look photo-op of a new ride vehicle for the upcoming Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift coaster, Universal Studios Hollywood has seemingly launched another photo-op featuring one of the ride vehicles temporarily hitched upon the track over the Star Way escalator.
Here’s the latest look at we know for the upcoming Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The vehicle is still covered in identity protecting film but has been temporarily hoisted into position centered over the Star Way escalator for a temporary photo-op ahead of the attraction being fully ready for actual coaster testing.
A separate ride vehicle is on display for an up close look modeled after the character r Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger from the Fast & Furious films.

About the Ride
Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift promises high-speed roller coaster adventure set to open on the Upper Lot of Universal Studios Hollywood. When complete, it will reach speeds of up to 72 MPH—making it the fastest in the Universal Destinations & Experiences portfolio. The ride will feature 360-degree rotating vehicles designed to simulate drifting along 4,100 feet of track that winds above parts of the park, including the escalator between lots.
