World of Color Happiness! is a jubilant new addition to the roster of entertainment for the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration and it makes a colorful kiss good night to end a day in the parks. The show invites guests to “celebrate happy” and is hosted by none other than Joy from the INSIDE OUT franchise. The all-new nighttime spectacular covers a wide array of Disney stories with signature fountains, dynamic lighting, colorful lasers, fog, and dramatic flame effects.

About the Show

The trademark World of Color presentations are always a colorful spectacle and for this celebration, the musical soundtrack features both classic Disney songs and other iconic favorites plus two new songs including one by Boyz II Men (performing “Rainbow Connection”) and a new original song just for the show called “Makes Me Wanna Move.”  by FITZ (of Fitz and the Tantrums). The show begins with a special message from Joe the Legal Weasel and more than a dozen of The Muppets. From there, it’s a music-filled journey across a colorful landscape of the company’s stories and franchises including including TURNING RED, THE INCREDIBLES, A GOOFY MOVIE, TANGLED, ENCANTO, THE LION KING, THE LITTLE MERMAID, WISH, FROZEN, and ENCANTO. and more.

How to Watch

Weather permitting, the 20ish minute show is scheduled to take place nightly at 9:00 PM and 10:15 PM, you’ll want to check the Disneyland app or website for the latest details on the day of your visit.

A Virtual Queue Reservation is required to see the show from roped-off prime vantage points but other viewing areas are also available on a standby, first-come, first-served, basis. Distribution for the complimentary virtual queue is at 12 p.m. PT, daily (subject to availability) and is available for guests who have entered Disney California Adventure park for the day or have entered Disneyland park with a Park Hopper ticket or Magic Key. • The nighttime spectacular will explore “happy” through a kaleidoscope of emotions.

• The show will be hosted by Joy and the other Emotions from Pixar Animation Studios’ INSIDE OUT and INSIDE OUT 2.

• The Emotions manifest music and moments from favorite Walt Disney Animation Studios’ and Pixar Animation Studios’ stories including “The Little Mermaid,” “Turning Red,” “A Goofy Movie,” “Tangled,” “Encanto,” “Toy Story,” “Aladdin,” “Cinderella,” “Snow White,” “Lilo and Stitch” and many more.
