Get ready to set sail! One Piece is official an adventurous part of Universal Fan Fest Nights 2025 and we had the chance to check out the special new character meet and greets, food, and more for One Piece: Grand Pirate Gathering!

With hosted tickets, we were given access to the park to uncover all the fun for ourselves. Here’s a look at everything you need to know about One Piece: Grand Pirate Gathering during Universal Fan Fest Nights 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Fan Zone and Meet and Greet

In and around the New York Street area on the Upper Lot, get ready to set sail with Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Crew (including Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji) on their latest treasure quest. As part of this Fan Zone, you’ll encounter interactive areas including:

  • Photo-ops and decorations evoking the nautical world from the long-running anime series
  • Meet and greet opportunities with Monkey D. Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji
    • There are no posted appearance times for these characters but we saw them greeting adventurers well past midnight

Dining

Sanji’s Galley takes over the Cocina Mexicana near the entrance into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter with a treasure trove of dining options. Highlights include shredded beef tacos, mole-covered ribs, chile lime shrimp torta, chicken adobo with rice and beans, Caribbean jerk chicken nachos, pineapple-filled concha, cotton candy cupcake, chili-lime donut, and tropical or tangerine iced tea.

Shopping

Of course, you can expect there to be a healthy selection of merch. A winsome bounty includes an exclusive collection of ONE PIECE merchandise, including a Monkey D. Luffy-inspired hoodie, signature straw hat and lunch bag, as well as a Chopper-inspired hat, backpack and youth tank top. Other take-home mementos, from keychains to pins and lanyards, will be available for purchase.

Universal Fan Fest Nights tickets range from the cheapest option at $74 for General Admission (offering entry to the event) to the most expensive option at $373 for the VIP Tour (which includes a guided tour, unlimited express access, private trolley transport, gourmet dinner, and valet parking). Mid-range options offer a combination of daytime park admission with limited express access to rides and attractions, plus evening event access with early entry to select experiences.
