The youngin’s are invited to take a bite out of the 2025 Knott’s Boysenberry Festival with the bite-sized showing of the Kid’s Pie Eating Contest! This charming offering gives the littles permission to play with their food and claim the top spot as winners for the day.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Kid’s Pie Eating Contest at the 2025 Knott’s Boysenberry Festival.

How to Participate

Guests aged 5-12 are invited to take part in the joyous event centered around consuming Knott’s most famous berry! If you’re interested in your little ones participating, simply head to the Calico Park about a half hour before showtime to enter for the chance to be selected. When the show starts, four names will be chosen at random.

The lucky participants will be invited up to the stage where they will be fitted with their ponchos and geared up with a pie and then it’s hands behind the backs and time to clear those pie tins!

About the Contest

One important thing to keep in mind for the Knott’s Berry Farm Kid’s Pie Eat Contest is that you don’t necessarily have to EAT all of your pie and you don’t have to finish first. Instead, judging will be done based on who has cleared the most pie out of their tin when the time is called!

Typical showtime is 2:45 PM but always check the app for showtimes on the day of your visit. The show may be dark on week days.
