Disney previously confirmed two new smaller scale projection shows are coming to Happiest Place on Earth as part of the Disneyland 70th Anniversary and we now have confirmation on details for the one coming to Disneyland called Tapestry of Happiness.

Here’s what we know about the new projection shows coming to the Disneyland Resort for the Disneyland 70th Anniversary.

What to Expect

  • At Disneyland, the facade of “it’s a small world” will also get a new projection show with light, music and projection effects
  • The show promises an animated mosaic of Disneyland attractions, moments and memories brought to life in a unique style inspired by the work of legendary Disney artist Mary Blair
  • An upbeat new theme song is being created in honor of the anniversary, “Celebrate Happy, and will be heard throughout the Resort during the celebration including in this show
  • The soundtrack will also feature nods to recognizable Disneyland tunes from across the decades
  • “Tapestry of Happiness” will be a visual love letter to Disneyland, bringing all of us together through memories of The Happiest Place on Earth.

Disney previously announced new offerings would be shown on the facades of both it’s a small world at Disneyland and the Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure. The yet unnamed version at the sister park, is being touted as a special “moment” that illuminates Carthay Circle and Buena Vista Street with twinkling lights, dynamic projections and bursts of color.
