About the Show
The approximately 7-minute show features projection mapping on the iconic landmark from the Harry Potter franchise which comes to life with imagery and sound from the films and of the holidays including a burst or two of pyro for its finale. Expect ghostly caroling of in-world songs, sights form the Yule Ball (including a magnificent larger than life music box, the tricky Weasley brothers with some antics up their sleeves, and a heaping dose of inspirational holiday cheer powered by the beautiful score and the spirit of the holidays.
How to See It
The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle nighttime spectacular can be seen from within the Wizarding World of Harry Potter with the the best viewing areas being right in front of the landmark Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey attraction at the back of the land. Standing on or near the stage in-between the castle and Hogsmeade Village will offer you your best vantage point.
The show is typically performed at 7:00 pm, 7:25 pm, and 7:45 pm with fewer showtimes likely during the week or on days with shorter hours. Always check the app for showtimes on the day of your visit for the latest information. The show may be dark on week days.
