Nestled in the heart of Frontierland in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World,  the upcoming McKim’s Mile House – A Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge promises a cozy and convenient retreat for members in summer 2025.

Here’s everything we know so far about McKim’s Mile House – A Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge.

The first-ever Member Lounge at Magic Kingdom is set to open by Summer 2025 and will be inspired by the boarding houses that accommodated tired train travelers during the Gold Rush days of the American West.

What to Expect

As with other DVC lounges, the resting space promises the opportunity to recharge on a number of different levels. The “McKim” name is a nod to the late Disney Legend Sam McKim, a Western-film-star-turned-Disney Imagineer whose visionary artwork helped shape some of Disney’s most iconic places in Frontierland and beyond.

The Fine Print

Of course, there’s loads of rules to usage of the lounge but no major surprises here if you’re familiar with visiting any other DVC lounge spaces.

  • Valid Membership Card and photo ID required at check-in. The name on the Membership Card must match the name on the photo ID.
  • A Member can bring in up to 4 Guests per Membership Card, or the number of Guests on their Resort reservation, booked within their Membership.
  • Guests and Associates must be accompanied by a Member with a valid Membership Card and photo ID.
  • No automatic reentry allowed. Members and their Guests who leave the space must follow the same entry policy.
  • Strollers must be parked at the attraction stroller parking outside.
  • Children may not be left unattended in the Member Lounge.
  • Members should remain with their Guests.
  • Personal devices should not be left unattended.
  • Personal cups may not be used with the Coke Freestyle machines.
  • Theme park admission is required for entry to Magic Kingdom park and is not included.
  • Access to the Member Lounge is part of Membership Extras.
