On select dates between October 21 and November 12, Magic Key holders have the chance to check out the splendor of the brand new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure taking over the former Splash Mountain attraction at Disneyland.
Here’s everything you need to know about Magic Key Previews for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disneyland.

What to Expect
- No advance sign-ups are necessary for the previews. Instead, this will simply utilize the Virtual Queue service in the Disneyland App that guests should be very familiar with by this point.
- This preview is available to all Magic Key holders with valid admission and theme park reservation on the day(s) of the previews.
- Magic Key blockout dates DO apply
- Magic Key previews of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure are available in October and November in limited time windows on select dates only.

- Disney is promising a commemorative Magic Key keepsake poster during each date of the attraction preview — while supplies last.

How to Ride
A Virtual Queue is required to access the attraction on preview days. Here’s what you need to know about the process.
When
- Magic Key holders with a Disneyland Park reservation for that day will have the opportunity to join the virtual queue starting at 7:00 AM.
- Magic Key holders who have already entered either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park that day will have the opportunity to join the virtual queue starting at noon (for previews later that day).
How
- In the Disneyland app, find the virtual queue section of the home screen and select “Join Virtual Queue.”
- Select “Join Virtual Queue” for the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Magic Key Preview.
- If your boarding group is called, you’ll receive a notification via the Disneyland app.
- Head to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and check in at the standby queue entrance within your designated return window—and enjoy your preview!
Important
- Virtual Queues are not a guarantee of being able to ride. They are limited in number and subject to cancellation based on availability of the attraction.
- Re-Rides: The previews are limited to once per Magic Key holder per day. That means you should be able to revisit on multiple days to take part in the Virtual Queue on each valid preview day.
Keepsake Poster
- WHAT: A special limited edition Magic Key version of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure poster that was previously revealed is being given away to Magic Key passholders on preview days.
- WHERE: Near the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge entrance at Fantasyland
- WHEN: From 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- WHO: Specifics are unclear but it seems ANY Magic Key holder can pick up this special keepsake gift whether or not you get a virtual queue or chance ride the attraction.
