Here’s everything you need to know about some of the most popular questions for the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
Event Hours
At the Anaheim Convention Center
- ALL DAYS: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
At the Honda Center
- FRIDAY, 8/9: Doors open at 5 p.m. | Disney Entertainment Showcase, 7 p.m.
- SAUTRDAY, 8/10: Doors open at 5 p.m. | Disney Experiences Showcase. 7 p.m.
- SUNDAY, 8/11: Doors open at 3 p.m. | Disney Legends Ceremony, 5 p.m.
Entering the Venues
At the Anaheim Convention Center
- Security screening will be in use at ALL event entrances which includes bag check and metal detection.
- A list of all prohibited items can be found on the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event website.
- Overnight queuing is NOT allowed.
- Event entrances open at 5 a.m. No queuing is permitted prior to 4:30 a.m.
- Follow signs and event staff directions for entry to the Show Floor, World of Disney: The Product Experience, and event stages.
At the Honda Center
- Doors open two (2) hours prior to each presentation start time. Disney recommends departing for the Honda Center at least 90 minutes prior to show time.
- Security screening will be in use at ALL event entrances which includes bag check and metal detection.
- A list of all prohibited items can be found on the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event website.
- PLEASE NOTE: The Honda Center has a strict “No Bag” policy. Backpacks, including mini backpacks, are not permitted under any circumstances.
- The maximum-size bag allowed at the Honda Center is 5″ x 9″ x 2″ regardless if it is a clear bag or not.
- Medical and diaper bags may be a maximum of 12″ x 12″ x 12″.
Bag Check Policy
At the Anaheim Convention Center
Overnight storage of items is not allowed. Several complimentary bag check options are available:
- Lobby A: Open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
- Arena Plaza: 9 a.m. until 90 minutes after Honda Center shows end
- Grand Plaza: 9 a.m. until 90 minutes after Honda Center shows end
At the Honda Center
If your item(s) do not fit within the Honda Center bag policy (see above under Entering the Venues) then you will need to utilize Bag Check.
- WHAT: Honda Center Bag Check costs $15 per item, payable only via card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.
- There will also be a mobile locker truck with compartments, as well as the ability to check oversize items.
- WHERE: The Honda Center bag check is located on the west side of the venue
- WHEN: Bag check at the Honda Center is open two (2) hours prior to each show until one (1) hour after each show ends.
- Overnight storage of items is not allowed.
Accessibility
Disney has made several accommodations to assist guests with disabilities.
At the Anaheim Convention Center
- Accessibility Services are in Event Services (at the Hilton Anaheim, California Ballroom A and B) is open Wednesday, August 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 8, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Accessibility Services located in the Anaheim Convention Center Lobby A/B is open Friday, August 9 to Sunday, August 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
At the Honda Center
- Accessibility Services are available from the time the doors open until 45 minutes after shows end. Accessibility Services locations are located across from Sections 228, 320, and 430.

Virtual Queue and Stand By Shopping
While many shopping venues will have traditional standby queues, some will only be accessible with a Virtual Queues — at least for the first part of each day of the event. See below for full details including redemption times.
Virtual queue opportunities will be available each morning of the event at 4 a.m. and again 1 p.m. accessible on the Disneyland app via the Disney D23 App.

Shuttle Transportation
For guests with tickets that include access to evening shows at the Honda Center, D23 is offering complimentary round-trip shuttles from the Anaheim Convention Center to the Honda Center.
Shuttles will depart from the Anaheim Convention Center starting 2.5 hours prior to showtimes: at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Shuttles will depart from the Honda Center until 1 hour after each show ends.
At the Anaheim Convention Center
- Shuttles, including accessible shuttles, are available at both Transit Plaza and Arena Plaza.
- All shuttles will operate on a continuous departure schedule, available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to limited availability.
At the Honda Center
- Shuttles will drop off and pick up in front of the Honda Center on Douglass Road. After the shows, shuttles departing the Honda Center will stop at both Transit Plaza and Arena Plaza.
- For accessible shuttles:
- There is limited capacity on accessible shuttles. To reduce delays, it is recommended that guests with accessibility needs plan to drive themselves, utilize ART buses, or use rideshare.
- Accessible shuttles will drop off and pick up on the southwest side of the building near Lot 1.
- After the shows, accessible shuttles departing the Honda Center will either drop off at Transit Plaza or Arena Plaza. There will be designated shuttles based on drop-off location.
- Note that accessible shuttles will not be stopping at both Anaheim Convention Center locations, so please know if you are going to Transit Plaza (near Car Park 4) or Arena Plaza (near Katella Ave and Car Park 1) and board the shuttle going to that location accordingly.

Overnight parking is not allowed at either venue.
At the Anaheim Convention Center
- PARKING HOURS: We confirmed directly with the convention center, these may be subject to change:
- ALL DAYS:
- Car Park 1: 4:30 a.m.
- Car Park 4: 8:00 a.m.
- ALL DAYS:
- COST: $25 per standard sized vehicle / $50 per oversized vehicle (vehicles more than 19 feet in length).
- Oversized vehicles must be parked in designated spaces and cannot exceed 40 feet in length.
- The Anaheim Convention Center accepts Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Google Pay, and Apple Pay (cash is not accepted).
- Accessible parking is on a first-come, first-served basis at Car Park 1 and Car Park 4.
At the Honda Center
- COST: Complimentary parking is available for guests with tickets that include access to evening shows at the Honda Center at Honda Center parking lots. Be prepared to show your Honda Center ticket for parking lot access.
- WHEN: Honda Center parking lots will OPEN approximately two (2) hours before each show and CLOSE two (2) hours after each show ends.
- WHERE: Guest parking is available in Honda Center Lots 3 and 4 (enter off of Ball Rd.).
- Accessible parking is in Honda Center Lot 1 (enter off of S Douglass Rd.) on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Designated accessible parking is available for vehicles displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. If a designated disabled parking space is not available, a parking staff member will direct you to an available parking option closest to the venue. If you have specific parking needs (e.g., additional space to lower a wheelchair ramp or lift) please notify a parking staff member for assistance.
