Hayley Mills and Leslie Ann Warren were amongst many surprise guests at the Jolly Holiday: A D23 Musical Celebration of Richard M. Sherman presentation at the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

Here’s a taste of what we got to experience during the Jolly Holiday: A D23 Musical Celebration of Richard M. Sherman presentation at the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

Gracious and humble, Hayley noted that she was never much of a singer but that Richard and his brother Robert helped her feel at ease. She also recalled — as a teenage girl during the making of THE PARENT TRAP — finding herself crushing a little on the musical brother duo.

With coaxing from panel moderators Jessie Maltin and Leonard Maltin, and encouragement from her fellow panel mate Leslie Ann Warren, Hayley did a “just for Richard Sherman” performance of the hit song “Let’s Get Together” which she actually originally sung as a duet with herself for the 1961 Disney classic film in which she played both parts of the twin sister lead characters.

Together, Hayley and Leslie formed a “gruesome two-some” recreating the magic from the original film. Special moments like this are some of the Disney magic that those in attendance for the Ultimate Disney Fan Event will never forget.
