There is so much excitement for THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS and after what we’ve seen at San Diego Comic-Con, the new MCU franchise seems like it will absolutely deliver in all the best ways.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR kicks off production on Tuesday and Marvel’s Kevin Feige invited director Matt Shakman to talk about the film.  Shakman shared his exciement to create a retro-futurist vision of 1960s New York City. But there was far more in store from just talking about the film as Marvel’s first family was actually all together on stage for the first time as well including, Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/The Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/Thing).

20240727_184448The cast mused about the process of working together on the film and fans were treated to footage with cosmic details about the upcoming feature film that sees Galactus and Silver Surfer target Earth for destruction. Then, after seeing a the hovering Fantasticar on screen, a real one soared over Hall H.

Featuring music by Oscar®-winning composer Michael Giacchino, Marvel Studios’ THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS hits theaters on July 25, 2025.
