Hulu’s Animayhem Factory is open and ready to start churning out industrial grade fun during San Diego Comic-Con 2024 and no badge is required… just a really long standby line! This ended up being one of our favorite activations of the Con.

Here’s a look at everything we experienced for Hulu’s Animayhem Factory at San Diego Comic-Con 2024.

The immersive exhibit offers the chance to explore a fantastical space with some of Hulu’s most iconic animated titles including Futurama, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, The Simpsons and more. interactive experiences, prizes, treats, and more!

No badge is required and the activation is available July 25 from 11:30am-7pm, July 26-27 from 9:30am–7pm daily, and July 28 from 9:30am–5pm.

Here’s a quick recap of everything we encountered which we shared to social media.

Cutawayland Storage

Celebrating 25 years of Family Guy, grab a bunch of different props and use them to activate iconic cutaway scenes from the show. Life-size 2D cutouts of the entire Griffin clan, dressed in their finest yellow tuxedos for fun photo-ops

Goobler Stress Test

The Solar Opposites “Goobler Stress Test” machine is measuring your levels. Scan your hand and based on the results, receive a corresponding Goobler stress ball.

Bonsai Master’s Sword

Inspired by Hit Monkey, find the Bonsai Master’s Sword at the Katana Factory and get a special prize of exclusive Hit Monkey pins. Plus, enjoy some more photo-ops.

Put Roger Back Together

Oh no! The popular character from American Dad has been captured by the CIA again and visitors will need to reassemble his dissected organs scattered across the lab. There’s also a photo-op with Roger’s Golden Turd.

LardLad Donut Factory

As you meltdown in the summer heat, rejoice in a nuclear meltdown in Springfield at the LardLAd Donut Factory where you can pick up a drool-worthy radioactive donut brought to our world courtesy of Randy’s Donuts.

Bob’s Record-O-Matic

Bob’s Burgers comes to life giving you the chance to create your own epic end credit scene with the characters. Dance like nobody is watching (even though EVERYONE is watching) and get a special customized animated video of the experience!

Break Room

The Great North

A fridge full of Alaskan air and a a vista across the vast Alaskan landscape with a view of Tobin’s iconic house.

Krapopolis

A custom Krapopolis vending machine in the style of the show’s ancient Greek world lets you pick from memorable items and easter eggs from the show which trigger the machine to play the corresponding clips from the series.

Grimsburg

A ‘Crime Board’ filled with suspect pictures, maps and clues from Detective Flute’s latest mysteries is available as a phoot-op along with favorite Grimsburg characters as 2D figures.

Slurm Factory

A gigantic Slurm Queen dominates the space as she pumps out fresh batches of the refreshing Futurama beverage. Audio excerpts of Futurama’s “Willy Wonka-inspired” Slurm Factory music fill the space where you can find Fry and Bender getting their fill plus Lela and the Grunka Lunkas facing off.

Prizes!

As a congrats for making it through the Animayem you are rewarded with a nifty 2D-style Hulu-green fanny pack and your choice of a pin set from FUTURAMA or SOLAR OPPOSITES.
