Several enhancements have been made all around Camp Snoopy at Knott’s Berry Farm and the new Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster is one of the new adventures awaiting families. The adorable attraction does pack some restrictions for riding so it’s important to know what they are before you wait in what promises to be very long lines for the new popular attraction!
About the Attraction
Family-friendly thrills await those willing to join Beagle Scout Leader Snoopy and his troop for some easy-going thrills on Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster. Speed through the camp grounds with thrills that are gentle enough for young adventurers.
The experience features a winding track with a pint-sized lift hill that young ones will find so much fun that they’ll want to do it twice — and the good news is, THEY CAN! Your adventure will have you traverse the camper’s trail two times before the journey comes to an end.
Safety Considerations
Minimum Height Requirement: 36″ for all riders; 42″ to ride alone- Accessibility: Guests must transfer from wheelchair or ECV to ride vehicle seating. A transfer device is available upon request.
- More Details: See Knott’s official accessibility guide
Size/Weight Restrictions
Unfortunately, height requirements aren’t the only restrictions for this attraction. The seats and lap bar safety restraint are designed to hold young ones securely in the coaster vehicles. Unlike similar coasters such as Chip and Dale’s Gadget Go Coaster at Disneyland, larger guests may be too big to fit into the attraction vehicle. As of opening day there, is not a test seat to test if you fit in the vehicle so if you are concerned about waiting in line and not being able to ride, it’s best to see a Knott’s employee at the location.
Adding further barriers (and extra time to the loading process) each vehicle on the coaster may also not support more than 300 pounds combined for the two both seats. As such, guests may be asked to move to another seat to better adjust the weight distribution for the ride. You can see the lap restraint system here, your lap bar must pull down all the way into the green marked area .If it does not, you will not be able to board.
