Start in Tomorrowland
Your mission begins in Tomorrowland at The Star Trader shop. Here’s a complete look at the front and back of the quest card map which outlines the mission. Why cylinders? Here’s the backstory:
During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Rebel Alliance set up a makeshift waystop on Batuu. To avoid detection, they devised a code system using letters inscribed on old supply cylinders, which were hidden among junk piles, scrapyards, and other locations. The letters form a word, which is given to a trusted contact. The Resistance continues to use these coded cylinders in testing the skills of new recruits. Use these uncovered field notes as a guide.

Head to Galaxy’s Edge!
Head to the Black Spire Outpost on Batuu to begin your quest for the cylinders! If you don’t have time for an on-planet trip to the Black Spire Outpost, we’ve got you covered from our recent recognizance mission.
Below are photos of every single decoder cylinder including a wider shot showing exactly where to find each one.
Head Back to Tomorrowland
Once you’ve found all six cylinders, find the signage in Tomorrowland to decrypt the message! If you don’t know Aurebesh, the Star Wars universe’s standadized alphabet, then we’ve got you covered.
Below is every single decoder sign with each of the symbols and translations to decrypt the passphrase word!
Collect your prize — a collectible trading card! The Aurebesh alphabet is decoded on the back. There are four total cards to collect — Chewbacca will be given out for the first two weeks.
While supplies last, you can also get your hands on the trading cards featuring R2-D2 and C-3PO and the Millennium Falcon.
