Disneyland is getting in on the fun for 2024 Pixar Fest with the Pixar Pals Playtime Party at the Fantasyland Theatre. Family-friendly fun is in store including activities, entertainment, characters, snacks and more!

What to Expect
The worlds of Pixar Animation Studios greatest hits come to life in a fun new way that encourages play all day long at the Fantasyland Theatre. You’ll find here energetic dance parties, enthusiastic character greets, themed snacks, crafts, and a bunch of places to just sit and relax. Truly, a little bit for everyone in the party.
Even with the traditional bench seating removed this area is not super large so it can get a little crowded. The music, the colors, the lighting, it’s all very… LOUD! Luckily, the nearby stadium seating offers a quick respite and an overview of everything going on in the space.
How to See it
Pixar Pals Playtime Party takes place at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland and can be enjoyed at your own pace. The availability of the area is subject to change so always check the Disneyland App on the day of your visit for the most accurate information but you can typically expect to see this experience spring to life daily from  to during Pixar Fest.
Photo-ops recreating scenes and favorite moments from Pixar films including UP, BRAVE, ONWARD, CARS, and more! Plus, character greets can include various characters from those or other movies. During a media preview of the event, characters on hand included Barley and Ian from ONWARD, Luca and Alberto from LUCA, Russel, Carl, and Dug from UP, and Wade and Ember from ELEMENTAL.

Several characters can be seen here including Wade and Ember from ELEMENTAL;Â Russel, Carl and Dug from UP; Ian and Barley Lightfoot from ONWARD; Luca and Alberto from LUCA; and Merida from BRAVE.

Crafts
If you’re looking for something a little calmer and quieter, you can escape to the Porto Rosso craft area where several coloring activities can be discovered.
Photo-Ops
Find “a bug’s life” is represented with oversized watermelon and circus animal cookies; the take a picture with Boo’s door straight from the Scare Floor celebrating MONSTER’S, INC.; and a finish line moment with the Piston Cup straight out of the world of CARS.
Plus, the character meet and greet backdrops also double as regular photo-ops when the characters step away for a quick break. You’ll find a house backdrop complete with a Carl and Ellie’s mailbox and postcard frame celebrating UP; the Guinevere van from ONWARD, a medieval archery tournament backdrop celebrating BRAVE; and colorful Pixar themed backdrops.
Entertainment
Roughly every 45 minutes, the stage comes to live with an energetic group of Pixar play pals who will encourage friends of all ages to get up and dance to simple choreographed routines. Along the way, favorite Pixar friends will join the party with dances themed to their movies. Then, keep your eyes peeled as the characters will join you on the dance floor to watch you showcase your newest moves.
When the show is not going, the large screen will feature Pixar shorts and Pixar trivia so there’s always something going on.
